Getting Here

Located on the mid north coast of New South Wales, Port Macquarie is easy to get to by all types of transportation, with well developed road, air, rail, and interstate coach services.

By Car

Port Macquarie is approximately 4.5 hours drive north of Sydney and situated just off the Pacific Highway, which bypasses Port Macquarie about 10 km to the west.

From the Pacific Highway driving north, exit at the sign posted Oxley Highway for Port Macquarie. If you're coming from the north, turn left into Hastings River Drive from the Pacific Highway.

By Air

You can fly to Port Macquarie by Qantaslink, Virgin Blue and Brindabella Airlines. Services run daily from Sydney with Qantas and Virgin Blue and from Brisbane on Brindabella Airlines.

By Rail

Countrylink offer three return train services daily from Sydney to Port Macquarie. The trains stops at Wauchope station which is approximately 20 minutes from Port Macquarie's town centre.
